review 1: We're back again in the Kingdom of Greeve, but it's meg's dragon Laddy who's runaway this time. Thus Meg is finally given permission to embark on a quest to find her dragon friend. However, her father is stern on her having at least 10 guards to accompany her and her close friends. Yet, as soon as they reach the enchanted forest all sorts of crazy and silly things happen, sending the Princess and her friends on a wild quest. This was full of just as much fun and silly adventures as the Runaway Princess. Coombs was very clever and included some very loved fairy tales and some little known tales.
review 2: This is the sequel to "the Runaway Princess", which I loved, and this was it's equal. I loved the wit, vivacity, twists, and characters inhabiting this world
... moreof enchanted forests, witches, princesses named "Spinach", and hot chocolate-loving wizards. It's innocent adventure, and just remembering it makes me smile. These books would be suitable for children of all ages, and for adults who still believe in "happily ever after". less

A breezy read as we tag along with Princess Meg and her companions as they undertake her "quest."

Cute. The characters were predictable, but the ending was not. A nice, light read.
