review 1: The story is great and the sex is hot (MMf). The writing is seriously lacking. Not very descriptive and leaves a lot for the reader to figure out. Like, she's sitting down and he takes her in his arms but then all of a sudden they're described standing as he pushes her against a wall but the author never writes "he stands her up and pushes her against the wall". All of a sudden they're just in a standing position. So you go back and reread it in case you missed something. But, no, you didn't. The book is filled with things like that. But the sex scenes are fabulous and they include my favorite twist: the two guys, who are long-time friends, are secretly attracted to each other so in the middle of super hot sex between the guys and the girl, the two guys finally hook up and... more it is steamy!
review 2: This had a great steamy quality and I liked the story between Rob and Jackson. The mystery plot was interesting as well. The reason this has not gotten five stars (although the sex scenes are five star) is that Rob was just unlikable to me. I can love a dominant alpha male as much as the next girl, but he was pretty much an ass through 90% of the book and didn't have much in the way of redeeming qualities. It didn't ruin the book for me, just made it a little less than stellar. Would still recommend! less

This story was all over the place for me. I liked it. I just wanted more Rob and Jackson time.

3.5 I love Kate Pearce- this book was good but it didn't suck me in as her other books have.
