review 1: First off, if m/m sex scenes bother you, do not read this book-not even the first chapter! That being said, I liked the first book better. This was interesting but there was almost more sex than plot. I know that sex was a tool for healing and figuring things out, but I am not sure if it is possible to do all the things these characters did in one day! And the end may seem like a satisfying conclusion but I like to think about the HEA, and I think there would be issues with society and kids and never truly being out in the open together.
review 2: I liked Val and Sara and Peter. At the end of Val and Sara's story it was apparent that Peter would have his own, but I never would have guessed that it would be this. So he traded Val and Sara for... ANOTHER marr
... moreied couple. Unclear to me as to whether any straight men exist in this series, besides the geriatric ones. I could see Peter and James as a couple, although it was made clear (due to James' preferences) that they could/would not last. I did not particularly care for Abby and Peter together. I guess I just didn't buy the depth of their feelings. Abby would have taken anyone who could get her pregnant; Peter just wanted someone to love him. It was a relationship born of rational thinking (I like him, I owe her a baby, he could give her one, or show me how, whichever) and fed by lust and kink. It could work, I guess, but I didn't feel any chemistry. Val was a gigantic tool during this book, and frankly, so was Peter. OBVIOUSLY Val, who is a terrible communicator, meant more than he said. 50% Val's fault for being the world's worst communicator, and 50% Peter's fault for being so (over)reactive and defensive. I was just vaguely annoyed at Peter for most of the book. Meh. More interested by Madame Helene's story (the next book in the series), so I am looking forward to that one. less

Este livro melhora em relação ao primeiro, mas mesmo assim não é uma saga que vá acompanhar :)
