review 1: I'm an avid reader of these kind of romance books and I'm a die hard LA Kings hockey fan, what's not to love? I really enjoyed this book. Great characters who are real and true to themselves. Ms. Willoughby, who I know is also a devoted Kings fan, knows her hockey so anything related to the game was written with clear knowledge of the sport and all its intricacies. As a hockey fan, I would've been disappointed with anything that wasn't true to the great game of hockey. I couldn't put this book down and really enjoyed the story of the Barracudas, Tim and Erin.

... moreero who is exactly what he says he is. There were no stupid mind games, and if he came across as too good to be true, he never was. Instead, he was incredibly upfront and emotionally honest even if it meant making himself vulnerable to someone he'd only known a short while. I have nothing but respect and admiration for a man who knows exactly what he wants and goes for it without the need to play power games or any of that BS. I assume part of it came from not being your typical rockstar NHL playboy bigshot but instead having been a father and husband for the previous 6 years. He was sweet, passionate and honest even if it hurt him. No complaints here. less
