review 1: Tempted by His Friend by Cari Quinn – 3 StarsI wasn’t 100% sold on this story. I didn’t really find either Stephanie or Landon very relatable or likable. I did like that Stephanie took matters into her own hands, but was bummed that she didn’t really see it through. Landon really just didn’t do it for me. I didn’t understand his motivations or his way of thinking. When Stephanie and Landon were hanging out as friends they were better, but I still didn’t get Landon’s need to sleep with everything that moved. I think that if we had time for develop their friendship before all of this stuff happened, I would have understood and liked them more. I would like to know more about their friend Craig. He caught my attention more than the two main characters did.Sedu... morecing Mr. Right by Katee Robert – 4 StarsI really liked Danielle when she was introduced in Two Wrongs, One Right. She’s feisty, loyal and seems like she’s a lot of fun. Danielle has her own set of issues that were somewhat similar to her friend Chelsea. Her daddy issues stemmed from her controlling military father. She didn’t want another powerful, controlling man in her life which is why she liked that Grayson worked in the mailroom.I really liked Grayson and could totally understand why he didn’t set Danielle straight regarding who he was and what he did for a living. He loved finally having someone like him for him and not because he was rich and powerful. This was another great story from Katee Robert and I can’t wait until her next offering.Wicked Games by Samanthe Beck – 4 StarsI liked this novella better than I did Lover Undercover. The romance and the suspense were mixed well throughout the story and didn’t seem overly forced. I really loved Stacy and Ian together in Lover Undercover so it was great to get more of them. I also enjoyed seeing Kylie and Trevor too. And of course the rest of the Deuces staff. I figured out that bad guy early on in the story, but that didn’t take anything away from the story for me. I’ll definitely read more by Samanthe Beck in the future.Protecting What’s Theirs by Tessa Bailey – 3 StarsThis was a cute follow up to Protecting What’s His. There were moments I wanted to smack Ginger and Derek around, but I did enjoy visiting them again.
review 2: This review is based only on the story by Tessa Bailey.Within Bailey's series, Ginger and Derek have been my favorites, so I was happy to see this short was centered about them. I loved how this one opened, love that Dolly is still hanging around, even better was Ginger telling her her secret. Derek annoyed me in this one. I get that he was trying to protect Ginger, but all his actions did was hurt her. I was happy when he realized it and promised no to do it again. I also loved that Derek realized Ginger's secret and how Ginger used what happened to make sure that there is potential for a new Dolly. less

3.5 Stars for Tessa Bailey's novella, which is the only book I read from this anthology.
