review 1: Interesting story abut 2 estranged adult sisters who were named after Austen characters and who grew up reading the Austen books. Nice references about food and cooking - Lizzy is a chef. Lizzy comes home to Seattle to assist her sister who is going through chemo for breast cancer. May be too much detail about chemo for some folks. Sisters have been estranged for several years. Story has they typical happy romance ending. Not a bad quick read, but also not great.
review 2: I once compared a book I disliked to a Lifetime Movie. This book is more like an ABC Family Original Movie; the same problems as a Lifetime Movie, but milder and less interesting. Although the writing is passably pleasant, the characters and their stories are lazily written with an eye
... moretoward sentimentality without any true emotional resonance. I'm not angry I read it, but I am glad it's over. I'd give it a soft pass. less

A wonderful book about sisterhood, cancer, family dynamics, and coming to terms with one's dreams.
