review 1: This is such an improvement on Kathleen Delaney's earlier books! The cast of characters is well drawn and the plot is tight and believable. Ellen, the main protagonist, is no longer an interfering, irritating busybody. Kathleen Delaney has learned to weave the required information into the story in a natural manner rather than staging artificial situations where Ellen interrogates her suspects. This was a very enjoyable read and I look forward to reading more.
review 2: This murder mystery was well written. However, there were a lot of characters to keep track of which bogged it down in some spots. The twist at the end was surprising. I also liked that the ending wasn't forced and that there was closure to the story. My only real complaint is that I didn't li... moreke the font the e-book was written in. For some reason it really tired out my eyes. Other than that it was a really good read. less
