review 1: I thought Drizzle was a very good and interesting book. Polly and her family live on a magical farm called Rupert's Rhubarb Farm. There they grow chocolate rhubarb plants and regular rhubarb plants. There is also a magical umbrella ride. It rains there only every Monday at 1:00. In the beginning Polly's grandmother dies so her aunt Edith comes to live with Polly and her family. The main Character is Polly Peabody and she is not that popular at school because she lives on a magical farm. Polly's brother' name is Freddy. Her sister's name is Beatrice. Freddy and Polly get along really well together. Beatrice and Polly on the other hand fight a little Beatrice bosses Polly around. In the middle of the book Polly's class comes to her farm on a field trip and Freddy is wa... morelking on a rope from his bedroom window and he is going to fall so Polly went out to help him. Another character is Basford he is also living with the Peabody family. He is in the same grade as Polly. Polly and Basford are in the same science class. Polly' best friend is a chocolate rhubarb plant named Harry. She talks to him every day. In the end of the book Polly and Freddy are both on the rope and they fall off and land in the lake Freddy hit his head off of a rock and goes unconscious and Polly has to swim him to the shore. He is taken away in an ambulance. They visit him every day because the doctors do not know what is wrong with him.
review 2: Imagine having a farm that grew plants that taste like chocolate ,and u are still eating healthy. Everyday is a adventure for Polly Peabody on Rupert's World Famous Rhubarb Farm. Polly knows that their farm is rather unusual after her Grandmother died and all around her diamonds sprout from the ground ,and on every Monday it rains at 1:00. When it rains the hole farm is swarmed with tourist that want the ride the giant red umbrella. But then one day the rain stopped ,Polly's hole world falls apart. Her older brother Freddy comes down with a severe illness ,and her family could lose the farm. Polly must uncover many secrets to help her brother survive. She must be quick on her feet to uncover the secrets in time. less
