review 1: I couldn't put this down. I literally read it within 3 hours. Claire has taken a job in the tiny town of Gull Harbor, where investigating a haunting isn't torturous enough, her ex resides in town. The Haunting is unlike any other she's experienced, and her ex steps in when things get incredibly aggressive.. fighting the feelings for him, and trying to win a ghosts trust is no easy task....
review 2: I received this book as a Goodreads First Reads winner. The concept seemed very interesting. Most paranormal books that you read today are based on vampires or werewolves. The fact that this book was about a medium and her ability to speak with ghosts was extremely refreshing. I really enjoyed this book, but the reason for only 3 stars is because I thought that it w
... moreas sometimes a little too fast paced and jumpy. I feel like the book could have been extended a few pages to accommodate more explanations of things. However, it is definitely a good read. And since it is a shorter book, it was great for reading over the holidays or during vacation. The characters in the book were well thought out and adorable. I wish you had gotten to see more of the locals though, rather than just focusing on 3 people. less
