review 1: this book is set in the near future where a terrible disease threatens to wipe out humanity in 50 years, and has scientists trying to breed hybrid humans with lizard dna in an effort to find a cure for the disease. the hybrids are humanoid, and the big question throughout the book is how they should be treated, as humans with rights like others, or as animals who are just much higher on the evolutionary scale than apes, or as a threat to "real" humans who should be destroyed. interesting read.
review 2: I am so glad that I have found independent authors like K.C. May. Venom of Vipers was a pleasant surprise from an author I had not previously heard of. I liked seeing some animal rights issues in this futuristic storyline. The story did not start out fast-p
... moreaced, but it was an interesting read and started moving along in the 2nd half. I encourage everyone to give this book a try if you like futuristic fiction. Good job K.C.! less
