review 1: dongeng hansel and gretel yg dimodernisasi dengan apik dan rapi. kisahnya mengalir lancar ttg dua bersaudara sol dan connie yg niatnya akan dibuang oleh orang tua (bukan kandungnya) dan tukang sihir jahat yg tinggal di sebelah rumah. sayangnya peran sol terlampau besar hingga karakter connie tampil sbg tempelan saja. endingnya punya twist yg cukup mengejutkan... dan menggantung, bersambung ke buku lanjutannya.
review 2: It's really interesting because I loved most of the first 15 Bluebonnet books that I read, but the last 5 had been just so - so. I think my biggest issue is with the ending of this book. Seriously...then the kids just walk off into the sunset with the clothes on their back and a backpack? That's a ridiculous ending. I really liked the entire boo... morek until the last 2 pages. It's amazing how a bad ending can kill a great story. less
