Starred review Kirkus Reviews 2012AlphabetThis is a book about a moose trying to figure out where he belongs in the alphabet, but causes a lot of chaos as he goes along. Z Is for Moose combines text with speech bubbles giving the reader an additional story with in the story. The book if comical and is relatable to young readers learning the alphabet, and the illustrator does a wonderful job of matching the pictures to the alphabet in the text.

The illustrations in the book are great and entertaining for children and also features different sized font to make the words more fun. This would be good to use for younger students who are learning the alphabet. less
