review 1: Not as good as the first, however I did enjoy the addition of Chase. He was a very intriguing, compelling and mysterious character and I found myself fascinated with the guy. I did feel sorry for him at the end. This was a good sequel but I found it a bit slow up until the last few chapters. The ending wasn't surprising I knew that the author wouldn't leave the precious characters from book one just hanging. I'm looking forward to reading book 3.
review 2: This book takes you on a ride you wont soon forget. I love Jodi and Alex and the world Kelly Hashway created with all the mythology. Jodi is growing up, she needs to take much more responsibilities in this book to honor her deal with Hades but she also has a lot of decisions to make. Enter the new guy Chase. ... moreHe comes to the school and he and Jodi have a connection which doesnt sit well with Alex. But Chase isnt who he seems he is. We also see a new side of Alex, the jelaous and frankly, a little jerk side of him. Jodi is faced with a lot of maturing to do, since this book packs a hell of a punch filled with heartache, action and impossible choices. less
