review 1: Wow. A BIG congratulations to the author! You've created one of the most amazing and unforgettable characters I've ever read. Ellie's not your typical girl. She's funny and she's really tough so boy's can't mess with her, but deep inside she's a softy, too. It's really rare for me to say that the heroine is not "typical" because most of the female characters I've read kind of have the same qualities. and it's kind of refreshing to see that Ellie can take care of herself :)As for Seth, our serial hottie, I kind of feel bad for him because he was nothing but sweet to Ellie, but she can't seem to trust him because she's never had a guy treat her the way Seth does. The ending... I wish there was more, but don't we all wish that in every ending of a book that we've come to lov... moree? :) review 2: Maybe contains spoilers. most likely, perhaps. idkThis Book was amazing, as soon as i heard about it i had to go on buy it on my kindle. I wasn't sorry either. It had a great story, plot and ending/kinda. It is not cliche either which i thought it would possibly be. I thought she would fall head over heels for this guy even though he was a possible killer but no she stayed on the balls of her metaphorical feet and kept her witts about her. So Seth moves in, he is creepy with the knives and the wierd aunt. Ellie's sister falls head over heels for him, but not Ellie. AND I DEEPLY RESPECT HER FOR THAT. Seeing as though he was good looking and totally wanted her. But no she put up a good fight....ONE THING was....TRAVIS. He wasn't explained nearly enough. Why was he so pushy over some girl her just met? Why did he keep ringin her? Could he not take the hint? Why did he travel all the way to where she played just to elbow her? Why would he go to all the trouble? So yeah. There is one thing. i didn't like..When i got into this i assumed that she was going to think Seth(new neighbour) was the killer right until the end where he comes in and saves the day, by killing the killer. BUT NO., NO NO NO!!!!!I loved the way this book was finished. He wasn't the hero, This book. Has a lot, lot lot More too it than just a hot guy and a killer. It really explores the sibling rivalry between Ellie and her sister. and I JUST LOVED IT!SO READ THIS BOOK. No buts, ifs or hows! Buy it! it is worth it. less
