review 1: I give this 5 out of 5 Love Struggling Stars. Camille ,or as she likes to be called Cam, is young and in love with an older well known gentleman until she starts to open her eyes to what he is doing. Garrette is a well known doctor who likes to have is women act a certain way. After a couple of years Cam starts to see how wrong it is and leaves him. She thinks that is the end of that. She meets a bartender when she is out with her friend one night who is named Ledger. Ledger sees Cam and what sees a lot of himself in the way she acts. He starts to try and get Cam to see life in a different light. He has a past that makes understand her easy. But then things with Garrette start to go the wrong way. Garrette can't let go. His action could lead to danger. What will Garrette d... moreo? Will Ledger and Cam make it through whatever Garrette does? How will Cam go on in life? The ending is bittersweet but so loving. ~Lisa The Book Nuts.
review 2: Reviewer : KayleneRating : 4.5 Stars**Copy received from Author in exchange for an honest review**Great story, found myself wanting more ....Ledger a hot, sexy, rich bar owner sees Cam Foster as a woman lost in world of pain and finds himself compelled to be with and help her out of the cage that she finds herself bound to. Cam’s past is anything but fairy tale, married to a cruel man who not only physically harms her but also psychologically abuses her she is made to fit his mould of the “perfect” trophy wife. Garrett is a man who’s only concerned himself, his public opinion and the perceptions of his life. He is a powerful man and uses that power against Cam and Ledger. Ledger calls Cam his dove because ultimately he wants to set her free to be herself and not something someone else has made her to be or expects of her.The book has a story to tell in that you should never allow yourself to be controlled and owned by another and that abuse of any kind is wrong. Cam turns out to be her saviour in more ways than one and he guides her out of the darkness that was her life.I enjoyed this book, it had everything you would want, a story, a hot guy and some great romance. I would recommend this book and gave it 4.5 stars. less
