review 1: Is the kind of free time book that makes you have the most exciting moment at the time you're reading it. The story in general is captive and makes you think a lot of situations and the humor of the characters are just almost like reality. Basically the story tries about a bachelor boy who wants to take care of a girl with problems in here life and then he realize he is falling.in love with her and obviously all the problems in real life about secrets of both and the way them could fix them
review 2: I was doubting about reading a stand alone book. I've been busy with reading series for like half a year. But when one of my friends suggested that I should read this book, I totally went with it. Well, let me tell you, if you read this book, you won't regret it!!... moreIt's about a 27 year old FBI agent Cole and a 20 year old girl named Savannah. When Cole has to 'clean out' a compound he finds her in the corner of a room. She's totally scared and he carries her outside and BOOM, sparks fly (even though they don't know it yet).After that night he thinks a lot about how she's feeling, where she is and how she's doing. When he gets a call and heares it's Savannah he gets to her as quickly as possible. She got beaten in the halfway house and he can't stand to see her that way so she takes her home, to his place. They sleep from then on every night together, cuddled up in each other arms. Except for the first night, but they both notice that their nightmares aren't as freaquent when they are sleeping together (and just sleeping, even though they both want more (sexual tension!!!!!!)). Savannah isn't used to normal life and Cole tries to ease her back in to the normal world. He wants to be her protector and he tries to hide his feelings that come spilling halfway through the story because of that. Though, Savannah doesn't need a protector, all she really wants is a love, someone who will care for her without second guessing. When Savannah finally gives up all hope for him to love her, he finally gives in and they make love. And I'm saying make love, but by that I mean earth shattering, vulcano exploding sex. Yup, I said it. I gave this book 5 stars because I'm normally not really into stand alone novels, but this one. Yes, I felt like I'd read a hole series! Well, I really want to tell the ending of the story as well. So here it goes. After a few secrets that get uncovered they fight, AND make up! The epilogue is 3 years later. I have only a few words... Weddings bands and baby bump. Praise the Lord for this ending. less
