review 1: I liked the concept of the book and thought the author did a great job portraying the not so glamorous modeling industry. Right from the beginning you know it's not all hearts and flowers between the two main characters then the story unfolds. And the build up to their romance was nicely done and well-paced. And the chemistry between Emmy and Ben was off the charts steamy! And then there was a scene with Ben's friend Braydon that was HOT HOT HOT!The heroine Emerson (Emmy) was sweet, down to Earth, and relatable. And I found the hero Ben to be both charming and witty. His one downfall was his naivety where his agent Fiona (Emmy's boss) is concerned. She has been his agent since day one and feels like she owns him. As Ben and Emmy grow closer Ben keeps insisting that F... moreiona will accept Emmy as his girlfriend, but you know that's not going to happen too soon even if Ben is convinced otherwise. Ben Shaw was quickly on his way to becoming one of my favorite book boyfriends when at the 85% mark he does something that made me want to smack him silly. And this drama will be the biggest test of their relationship. Which I look forward to reading in the second book in this series.
review 2: Estoy perdiendo la fe en el NA (????) y en el genero romantico. 3 meses le tomo a nuestra protagonista cambiar el estilo de vida de un modelo y convencerlo de que la amara...So, ¿Por que esto tiene que ser tan rapido, (APRESURADO)? ¿Por que al protagonista lo hacen inalcansable y a la chica un bicho (ASI DE INGENUA Y SI, LA CHICA ES TONTA).Al principio estuvo interesante pero despues se puso monotono y aburrido.Le doy 2 estrellas por la primera mitad del libro. less
