review 1: I liked this one even better than the first since we're more into the story and some seriously interesting things are happening. This is such a good story! Normally I don't really like fae books too much but this one is a glaring exception. If the rest of the series keeps going the way the first two books did, this will probably end up being one of my favorite series. I can't wait to see what happens next in The Seven Year King.
review 2: I think I enjoyed this second of the series slightly better than the first although I can’t put a finger on why. Maybe because we got some very interesting answers to the riddle that is Tiki's life. My one frustration would be with Tiki and Rieker’s relationship. Although they had already declared their love for one ano... morether in the first book, this book starts four months later and it’s like they regressed. I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn’t so much as held hands in four months. They both came off a bit untrustworthy in their relationship at times which was also a disappointment. Other than these minor romance issues, I enjoyed the mystery and adventure. less
