review 1: okay so now when i read all four part of this series..I think now i am samrt enough to write my reviews..So story start with the lovestory of Marsdon and Bennett, first book was very good and nice you smiled at their happy ending then comes the second boom in this series the strength of gamma..nice and easy reading there was nothing new,but the love of steffan for francis from there childhood only was really sweet and adorable because he was thinking he was not good enough he was ready to sacrifice his love..then comes the story of our beta and omega Gunner and Talbot..well i was waiting for this part..may be because i started liking Talbot he was such a cute character to love..and i think Gunner is the perfect match for him..I loved this book and there happy ending..and no... morew talking about the last book of Alfred and Caden..Before this book i never like Alfred specially because he challenged Bennett in the first book..but in this part i had full sympathy toward him..No one was ready to understand him..But anyways Caden was there for him.. Before this series i had never like Wolf novel but now i must say i am addictive for warewolves novels and i am looking forward to many more such novels..
review 2: The Pack Discipline series revolves around the solid idea of the pack mentality among wolf-shifters which outlines a clear idea of who is dominant and who is submissive. The series then takes 8 members of this pack and follows through with what happens when their own personalities and attractions conflict with that pack mentality. In this world there's a solid hierarchy that all wolves in a pack follow and that's outlined simply as: Alphas > Betas > Gammas > Omegas.Alfred and Caden are both gamma wolves but unlike most gammas, Alfred pushes against authority and creates havoc at almost every opportunity. Caden and his brother, Gunnar, join the pack so that Gunnar can hopefully be mated to Alfred to calm his rebellious nature however Alfred and Gunnar didn't get along and Gunnar fell for and mated another wolf, Talbot. This is good news for Caden because, unlike his brother, he's attracted to Alfred and sees much more in him then any of the others. Considering Alfred open for courting now, Caden goes into full flirt mode around Alfred and starts to work at making the other wolf realize that they're both more than they seem. Caden has noticed something about Alfred that no one else has and is determined to make Alfred see what Caden does.Alfred doesn't really know why he pushes the boundaries and fights the pack authority so much, he only knows that something about his life chafes at him and because of his attitude he's been labeled the pack troublemaker. No one expects Alfred to be of use or helpful and everyone assumes that if something goes wrong, Alfred is somehow involved. This has shaped Alfred's life so when Gunnar doesn't want to mate with him, he's not surprised. Alfred doesn't fall for Gunnar at all, but he also doesn't feel like even if he did like the beta wolf, that he would've been chosen. This low self-worth is brought to light and challenged when Caden makes his feelings for Alfred known. At the same time that Alfred doesn't understand how Caden can love him, he wants to become the man/wolf that Caden could love. This challenge brings to light many aspects of how Alfred feels about himself and how his pack has been treating him all his life.I enjoyed the final novel to this series just as much as the others and I wish it wasn't the last. I like how the characters previously featured in the series are present throughout each novel and the stories all challenge the same overall theme of what it means to be dominant or submissive in different ways. less
