review 1: I was never fond on historic, period novels. Perhaps it brings back memories of all the forced literature readings in my youth. When I came across this series, I thought I would give it a try. I mean it had M/M romance and Science Fiction so maybe it would outweigh my childhood prejudice. Sadly it didn't happen. The main character's aristocratic, condescending manner was a definite turnoff. I had no empathy or even cared what happened to him. All else was lost.
review 2: Okay, this series is weird. First of all, I was lost from the start. I didn't even understand what was happening and why. So from this point, this story lacks a lot. The main storyline is undeveloped, full of holes and definitely weird. There is no real attraction between Mason and Agamemnon Fr
... moreost. It felt like Frost was manipulating Mason for his own plan. Using him and getting him killed, or transformed. I disliked that. This story isn't for me. less
