review 1: After being disappointed with To Tame A Wilde, I wanted to give the author a chance to redeem herself. This is strike two. The only thing working for these two is SEX! Also, the author made a boo-boo. The Wilde brother's foster dad was Clint, not Jed. Yes, I paid attention. As far as I can understand about Holt is his package spoke louder than his brain which, in this case, was out to lunch. He was Jasmine's first experience yet treated it as if it were nothing. That showed a lack of respect for Jasmine and her aunt, Lilly who practically raised the Wilde boys. Shame, shame on him
review 2: Not usually a reader of romance, though I've read a few-read this for my reader's advisory class. Had seen the book pass through the library many times and found the male mo... moredel on the cover attractive, and liked the idea of interracial romance. Interestingly, not much is said at all in the book to indicate the two main characters are interracial. Have to say I do like a book where love prevails, even though it's not necessarily realistic. But then, I'm a cynic when it comes to love. Quick, steamy read. Oh, and it is also interesting to see the differences in how a female author describes sex scenes versus a male author. less
