review 1: 4 excellent novellas and a bonus short story at the end... What's not to love? Honey, her sister Nina, her former bestest friend Pippa, and her former rival Eve all find true love among the denizens surrounding Honey's ridiculously extravagant wedding festivities. All right, so Honey's a nervous wreck, Nina works as a circus performer, Eve ran away to New York after the groom threw her over for Honey, and Pippa just ran away after the Groom proposed marriage ten years ago. Honey is well aware she may be Brent's third choice, and the other two are dressed to catch a man. Maybe even Brent. Not to mention the wedding planner, Grace, who changed her name as soon as she graduated High School because it was all just too traumatic. Then we have the village gossip squad and the Ja... moreckals (cousins-from-hell) who Daddy insisted be her bridesmaids. I could blather all day, but why bother? Just read the book.
review 2: Not only is this a great concept for a book, but it has four terrific authors working together to create a read you can’t put down. The story revolves around the wedding of Honore Moreau and Brent Delacroix, and it’s hard to beat a Southern wedding for romance! The book has four stories, one by each author, of four couples, involved in one way or another with Honey’s wedding, getting their Happy Ever After. These authors did a top notch job of interweaving characters between their individual stories without changing them at all, and through the entire book we get the perfect picture of a completely frazzled Honey unsure whether Brent truly loves her or is just marrying her because she makes the perfect wife. Even though the bulk of the book revolves around the four couples finding their soul mates, we get a bonus ending written by Ally Blake where Honey’s issues get resolved and we know she too gets her HEA. But, most importantly, we finally get to meet her man, Brent. Standing ovation for this great read. Well done ladies! less
