review 1: A stereotype of teenager love story. The story was quiet nice telling, but the scenario was same with others.Emerson and Jaxon, the main characters falling in love, breakup and finally the happy ending. It's not that I don't like the happy ending, it just the situation is always same, whether she or he will create the problems in the middle of their relationship, suffered enough and after that happy end.
review 2: 5 well worthy stars for this one!!!!!!!!!!1Wow, this was such a great read, in a long time. I seen a author post that read this on face book, when maybe the book first came out, and since then I've dying to read it. I'm so glad I did. It looked like a good read from the title to the cover, to the blurb. Jax and Emerson doesn't meet in such a formal, w
... moreay. From the moment those two meet, or should I say laid eyes on each other it has been a emotional roll coaster for both. The way those two, connect and shows how much chemistry they have. Both denies their attraction and doesn't believe in settling down. Both characters have a past that shaped them into the people they are now. Both are struggling with their pasts, that are causing a hold on a relationship together. But to me the more time they shared together the more, they grow as people.I devoured the book within a day. I have to say Jaxon was so swoon worthy, I'm so jealous that Emerson got him. He was such a sweet heart, and not like the tattooed, motorcycle boys you would read in regular novels. I thought Emerson, had a reason to be the way she was, and I don't blame her. If it was me, I would be the same way. I really liked her best friends in this Quinn and Cole. This book actually reminded me of Beautiful Disaster in a way. I really enjoyed this, and I felt like this was such a different, and original read. I really wish the author gave them a sequel, even though the book is a standalone. But to be honest, I hated how Emerson sent Jax on such a roller coaster, and back and forth. But the both of them were like that, and that's something you don't see very often. She was a girl who didn't want to feel heartbreak , or commitment, or rejection just anything relating to emotions. But who doesn't at that age and in college, especially with the hand she was dealt with. I thought she was strong , and was truly trying to change for Jax. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new and different read. less
