review 1: I've been a fan of KJ Bell since her first book, The Locket. I am so impressed by her writing. She can turn a story completely on its head like nobody else. One thing I will tell you about KJ is that she is slightly evil. And I mean that in the nicest way possible. She is not afraid to write gut-wrenching scenes in her books. I've had a few occasions where I've wanted to throw my Kindle at her. But as gut-wrenching and horrible those scenes are to get through and as mad as I get at her, I love her for it. She writes great drama!!Whenever I pick up one of her books, I know that I'm in for a good ride. Cut Too Deep is no exception. Hadley and Miller's first encounter was tantalizing and got me all jazzed up for a great story. The subtle naughtiness in the elevator was delicio... moreus. I was already in love with Miller at that point. Then he's gone and the letters start! I loved that part the most. Getting to know each other that way was just what Hadley needed to coax her out of her shell. I couldn't wait for Miller to return and claim that first kiss.Hadley and Miller's story is complex and beautiful. Each new layer added such richness to the story. I truly enjoyed every minute I spent with them.
review 2: This book intrigued me from the blurb. I read it from start to finish in one day. I loved everything about it. The Characters, the plot, the pace. Everything was just right. This book can be upsetting if you don't like hearing about child abuse. Its a bit violent in parts but in context with the story. Its full of angst, suspense, violence and emotional moments. Hadley is a woman who has survived her past. And what a past she had. after witnessing a murder that she had to defend herself in, then placed in the foster care system. She has to fight for a normal life. Then she meets Miller Genetti. Miller Genetti has it all, money, a successful business and is extremely Hot and Sexy. After he gets to know Hadley all bets are off. This book is amazingly written. It compells you from the first page. You wont want to put it down. The pace and flow are perfect. I was devastated when it ended.I love Hadley's character. She is someone from the beginning that you root for. If anyone deserves a break its her. I wont lie, this book will pull at your heartstrings dramatically for Hadley. Its heartbreaking. I loved Miller's character, hes an alpha male that is the perfect man for Hadley. This book has all the correct amount of angst and suspense. This book needs to be added to your "TBR" pile. But be warned you will need the usual supplies. This book is amazingly written, a compelling storyline, stunning characters, Its exceptional. I give this book 5/5 stars. And 5/5 for movie moments. less

Super slow in the beginning, on the fence of DNF but turned into a really good read!
