review 1: When I read a series, my typical pattern is to love the first book and last book while the middle books are typically filler. Well in this series, the middle book contained all the drama and angst and had me on this thrilling roller coaster ride with turn after turn of events that kept me on the edge. It had so much angst, Maury Povich couldn't compete! This book definitely was the best out of the series. And I would know since I read them out of order (reading Tug, the third book in the series first, then the first and second). Tori loves Brady and vice versa. However, so much happens. Tori looses Mona to an unfortunate accident, while battling Post Pardon Depression from her loss, she finds out Brady is already a father to Andrew, a child he had with Annabelle. Then jeal... moreousy rears its ugly head as Tori deals with feeling like a distraction to Brady. Then there is the whole situation of her leaving to Minnesota so she can put herself together while Tug makes an appearance and they sleep together, which ultimately she gets pregnant after Brady comes to Minnesota to get her back and she doesn't know who the baby belongs to. There is brother drama because of her infidelity. Lastly, there is another accident which almost costs Brady and Tori their relationship. I definitely cried and clenched my Nook while reading this story. One of the most entertaining and angst filled reads I have ever read. Loved it!
review 2: Over 80% of this novel was boring city. When we got to the good parts, it wasn't so bad. From this novel and the first one of the series, they made Brady out to be some hero but what happens when the hero isn't really the hero? I think the author FUCKED UP BAD! Tug as the hero in all these novels and he was passed by so easily, he belong with Tori and Brady didn't deserve her in the least. What a crock of shit. less
