review 1: For starters, The beginning did intrigue me, the story flowed well, and I didn't find any editing issue up the 64% of it. That being said, I felt nothing for this story. The erotic sizzle, well was more like a small dwindling flame that could go out at any moment. The intimate scenes were a paragraph at best and was more like a skim over just point out the obvious stuff. Not a real connection to the reader was established to convey how passionate they were. I just didn't buy it. The story was dragging on and iffy at best. It just couldn't keep my interest in it more than 64%. Others may like this, but it only gets a meh out of me.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. I thought it had the right amount of mystery, suspense, and love all tied up in one great pack
... moreage. I liked that it wasn't overly angsty, and the 'cave scene' near the end, wasn't too graphic that I wanted to stop reading. I hate reading about that stuff. While I do wish there was more build to the romance, I liked the overall chemistry between the two main characters. Unlike some other books I read recently, this one doesn't end with a cliffhanger, but left enough things unresolved to leave the reader to want the next book. I got this one for free during a promotion and will be buying the next ebook. Well played Jackson, well played. less

This was a good book. It was easy to read and a plot line that will carry on into new books.

It was ok, but not a series I will continue or recommend. Very YA.
