review 1: Awesome read, Evangeline's heartbreak is devastating when she loses her parents in an accident. Evangelline unresolved differences with her parents and feels guilty for not visiting them for 9 yrs and goes out dancing with her best friend gets drunk and kisses Dorien and falls in love with him even though he is immortal. Dorien tries to find out who killed Evangelines parents to help her deal with her loss. I am on to Spartan Hearts 2 and I am sure it will be a great read too.
review 2: I recently read Spartan Heart part 1 and have to say that I was more than impressed. Kristine Cheney takes you on a journey of the heart. Immediately you are thrown into the life of Evan as she is mourning the death of her parents. Your heart goes out to her. Then one night she ... moremeets Dorien and her whole life is changed. Like any good love story there is a bad guy or two trying to cause hate and discontent in the lives of the lovers. As this is part one I am anxious to see how the two will survive so many obstacles. This is a must read and I cant wait for the rest of the series! less
