review 1: This book was a bit of a disappointment for me. I was really excited after reading the synopsis on good reads and the great reviews, but this fell flat for me. I never became invested in the main character Tania. The story was about Tania's loneliness due to her over worked fiancée, but I never felt the loneliness. It started off slow, than halfway through when the "Red Letters" started arriving it picked up my interest only to be let down by a predictable ending. The Epilogue lost me completely, I don't know where the author was going with this, will there be a follow up book or was it just for "shock" value? The whole book felt like an outdated 80's late Saturday night thriller.I really hate to write this review, I really wanted to like this book, the story line had gr... moreeat potential however, it just did not work for me.
review 2: This should have been categorized as maybe a sexy thriller or mystery. It's definitely not erotic. The sex was OK, mostly either glazed over, short or cut off. There was way too much build up. If it was a thriller or mystery, it would be fine. I expected a lot more. The ending really pissed me off, but I don't like unknowns (seemed contradictory as well) and wouldn't read a part two if there was one. less
