review 1: I've had this book on my Kindle for a while now. Always wanting to read it but then I find another book that I need to read and it got lost in the shuffle. So I picked this book for a challenges to satisfy a requirement. Well I'm sorry I didn't read it earlier. I loved this book. The characters were great. Love Kade and Sydney but can't wait to read the next in the series. This book has everything you would want suspense, hot sex, and the HEA.
review 2: Based on the audiobook - 2.5 starsI'm not sure about this narrator. Typically I can separate a book from a narrator, but I found it difficult with this one. Sure, this was an erotic paranormal romance, but I really felt like I walked into a B movie, very campy and cheesy. Toward the end I found myself... more enjoying the book, but I really struggled with the first 2/3 of the book.I am however wanting to read book 2, so I upgraded my 2 stars to a 3 since it did create enough interest for me to want to listen to the 2nd book. Alas, book 2 isn't in audio form yet, so it may be awhile before I get to the second volume. Not sure I want to "read" volume 2. less
