review 1: I am going to write one review for all three books because I skimmed the first two and part of the third in one sitting and finished the third on the same day.I really loved how this book make me think about a life without consequences can be and how fear can be as seductive as a lover. I loved book 1 because the sexual tension leapt off the page. I honestly do not support cheating at all so that was one turn off, but he cheated on her, so... Moving on. I think he proposed too hastily and just because he said he changed and she will give him a shot doesn't really mean that they would actually work out. Sex cannot sustain a full relationship. One thing I find weird is how controlling her fiancé was after being so meek. Also, if everyone is afraid of the male lead, who the ... morehell spilled that she was having an affair?Overall though, it is definitely something I would recommend, if not just to get people to think.
review 2: I wasn't going to download this one since the first 2 books in this series fell short for me. But I had to finish what I started. And again, I was hoping this would make up for the last two dragged-out novels...Sadly, the plot never "thickened". I hate that I'm only giving Kyra Davis 2 stars because she writes BEAUTIFULLY. I love the poetry in her words, the metaphors, but the story itself just didn't leave me wanting more. I actually couldn't wait to finish this trilogy so I could find something better to read. less
