review 1: Well I was excited to read this book from the ending of the last book but I thought this one was fairly slow. It had moments of drama and I also, thought there was room for other types of drama. It has been smooth sailing for Tristan/Allie through the books. I really don't know what a 3rd book could possibly talk about because this book wrapped it up in a bow. There were sweet moments also, I like Emma she seemed to be in the mix. David had mental problems and I don't think the women trafficking was explored enough. I also, would like to know more about James.
review 2: Everything seemed to move fast for the pair. When left off previously Tristan fired Allie but only to give her own job to help missing women. She also had to deal with the her wanted to be stron
... moreg woman she grew up to be while at the same time being a protective mother. The danger that sent her mom into hiding return and almost forced her to become that scared little girl that hid when her mother was hurt. It seems someone has grown delusional over the years and well be relentless until he gets what he wants. Tristan and Allie made some surprising moves to insure that they would always be a family. The ending doesn't quite seem like an ending to me. Its more like a pause in the story. There are still some secrets that have yet to come to light. I can't wait to finally know what they are. less
