review 1: In Bare Necessities. there is a little mystery and intrigue along with a spicy romance. Ava is a sexy Italian who wants to open a lingerie shop with a little something extra in the back. Seth is the cop who thinks this store will be a scandal in the small town of Brookfield. The only problem is, as opposed as he is to the shop, Seth also can't deny his attraction to Ava and vice versa, When someone vandalizes her shop and sends her threatening notes, of course she thinks its Seth, but there are other suspects around and anyone could be the culprit. Despite her doubts, Ava is still drawn to Seth. But she is coming out of a bad relationship, and he has a dark secret in his past as well. With the sparks flying off the page, readers will route for Ava and Seth to overcome thei... morer differences and give into their urge
review 2: With a tight and clever writing style, Lacey Wolfe has transported a city girl into the countryside, and livened up this small mountain town. It’s not a stretch to imagine the friendliness of the people, and Ava’s personal discomfort with trust, not after her abusive past is revealed. While Seth’s interest, as both the Sheriff and a man are easy to relate to. While no one is comfortable with the thought that an “adult store” is taking up residence on Main Street, his overt hostility to Ava once he hears that she is the new businesswoman with a planned lingerie shop that also sells adult toys is a bit overdone. Yes, all of that conflict is settled when, as must happen with romance, their desires for each other overcome their discomfort of the situation, and the danger faced when Ava’s past returns to haunt. A perfectly fun book, great for an escape read; with touches of more serious elements of abusive and controlling boyfriends. Somewhat predictable, which is in no way a negative for a romance read, this book is the first in several I am sure to read of this author’s work when I want to escape the mundane and have a happy ending. I received an eBook copy from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review, and all conclusions are my own responsibility. less

Pretty good story but many grammatical errors are distracting. Where is the editor and proofreader?
