review 1: Oh my lord! What can I say about, Finding Opa? It was an awesome read.It was great getting to know the characters and the simalarities they shared, both losing their spouses, and how a chance meeting changed their lives forever. I was so engrossed in Stacey and Hunter's story that I wanted to read more and more. They were both strong charactes, yet vunerable but were so in tune with each other. It was good to see a a strong female charater with layers and not one dimentional. It's a great book to curl up in bed with. You wouldn't want to put it down. It made me laugh and it made me cry, especially towards the end of the story. I recommend this book to anyone who believes in true love.
review 2: Ok so they found opa! but the author never explained what opa! mean
... mores. I guess we're just suppose to assume it means happiness, contentment, wtf? This is my second book by Latrivia Nelson. I enjoyed her "Ugly Girlfriend" way better than this. I found that I did not care for the characters in this one,Stacy and Hunter. I was looking forward to the confrontation between the families. That was the highlight of the book for me and the confrontation wasn't that great. Oh I would never name my child after my husband's dead first wife. Not gonna happen.I think the relationship felt rush and the "I love you" rang false. Well I have "The Grunt" to read. We'll see how that stacks up to the others. less
