review 1: Very interesting book. Wasn't about the crash itself so much as what the passengers went through. The back of the plane had the worst experience and the front had the least issues. My son was on the flight (thankfully in the middle)and called me at work from the ferry. We knew he was safe before we knew he was in danger. His company flew he and a coworker home to Charlotte so he was able to sleep in his bed at home that night.
review 2: This was a good book overall, but not a good book for me. It shared the stories from a good portion of the passengers on flight 1549 and I had trouble keeping track of who everyone was. I am a very detail oriented person and that didn't really help during this read. At one point, I was tempted to start the book over and ... morekeep a notepad with me so I could write down all their names and a little about them so I knew who was who when they were sharing their stories since it goes by point in time rather than each story individually.Overall though, it was a great book. less
