review 1: Setelah 'mengendap' sekian lama di folder laptopku, akhirnya pada suatu hari di Bulan Oktober aku iseng-iseng baca buku ini. Dan wow, aku nggak nyesel bacanya karena twist cerita ini bener-bener bikin aku penuh antisipasi akan hal apa yang bakal terjadi selanjutnya... Di sini akhirnya ada juga heroine yang reputasinya sepertinya cukup 'berpengaruh' juga untuk mengubah aturan hubungan mating di kalangan Cyborg ini. Alurnya juga cukup dramatis dan sering bikin gemas sama hero dan heroine tetapi romatisnya tetap ada jugalah. Such an enjoyable read! dan setelah baca ini aku langsung nerusin lagi baca serial New Spesies lain yang sebelumnya aku lewatkan hehe ;)
review 2: These books are really fast reads and I really enjoyed Krell's story. He was a damaged hero and ... morenot just emotionally but physically and it made him the way he was. Because he'd been scarred when they escaped from the humans he had been injured so badly that on their home planet, no female wanted to breed with him and it tore at me when people brought up his deficiencies. And they weren't really deficiencies as much as they were people not accepting him the way he was and focusing on his physical appearance and hardened personality. Cyan was someone who knew about this. Having suffered through terminal illness and being a wallflower to men, she wasn't completely human and I truly loved how she accepted Krell and nothing about his appearance put her off. less
