review 1: Book 2 in the cyborg series. This was a great book. Steel was so angry that Rena pretty much forced his ownership of her. I shouldn't laugh but his reaction was pretty funny. Her jealousy streak was pretty out there especially the way she came storming out of the bathroom to let the female cyborg know that she was with Steel. I don't want to spoil the whole story but def read the book to find out what that female does to try to destroy Steel and Rena's relationship and lives.
review 2: I listened to this book on audibles. These are erotic stories, so the sex is explicit. Do not purchase if this bothers you. It is the second book in this series. Steel and Rena were a fun couple to watch. Rena worked for an insurance agency recovering lost or stolen mer... morechandise and the book starts off with her working to recover a very expensive luxury ship that has gone missing. When they find it, her men board it thinking they are up against stupid pirates and taking back the ship will be a piece of cake. However, they find cyborgs instead, and end up losing their lives, because they refused to put down their weapons. The cyborgs also go to take over the other ship where Rena is waiting, and she becomes their prisoner. All the cyborg males want her, and Flint is planning on holding a lottery. Rena is freaked, but she remembered hearing Steel say he did not want to kill her, and then later he had talked about his wife cheating on him, and Rena shares his pain. She also finds him the most attractive and decides if she has to sleep with one of them, she wants him. She comes right out and asks Flint to give her to Steel. Flint immediately accepts and congratulates Flint. He now owns a human and Steel is not happy. So pretty much up front, Steel tells Rena that he is going to find another male to give her too. Then, he throws in the added information that the new guy might choose to share her body with others, but would not hurt her. Rena sets about working to convince Steel to keep her. They had some funny and wild moments getting to know each other. Throw in all the cyborg women coming on to Steel due to his newly unattached state, and things really get interesting. Another fun story in the series. less
