review 1: Love It's Murder, My Son and I am head right straight to the next book in the Mac Faraday series. This book had me inthralled from beginning to end. Just a warning that there are many characters in this story but I like it that way. My favorite character was the four legged one named Gnarly. Another reason I enjoyed this book was the places they mentioned in the book are real which made me feel like I was a part of the story. This is my first Lauren Carr book but I guarentee it is not my last.
review 2: It's Murder, My Son is an entertaining book. A woman, Katrina, is murdered in her home. An author lives next door, and keeps a journal on the murder. She dies -- natural causes. Her son, Mac Farraday, whom she puts up for adoption at birth, inherits he
... morer fortune. Mac, an ex police detective, decides to retire on his late mother's estate. He and his half brother, a policeman in this small wealthy community, are skeptical of the findings of the inept Sheriff. This tale involves many characters, sometimes it's difficult to keep track of who did what to whom and why, but all are deftly drawn and part of the fun is sorting it out.
