review 1: Arriane and Roland are out at the store, buying things to prepare for Luce's arrival. And Roland talks about how Daniel may try to break the cycle this time - that he may try to resist falling in love with Luce. Arriane says that's not possible but she realizes that every time Luce died, for them, it was like missing a friend for awhile before she came back but for Daniel - it broke his heart every time. For how long could he stand it? Losing the girl he loved over and over again? It's a bit serious but they leave the store, needing to finish the preparations.
review 2: This is a short story to Lauren Kate's Fallen series. This store had Arriane and Roland in a store, buying thing to get ready for Luce return. This takes place right before Luce shows up at Swor... mored and Cross. It told a little about Arriane's feeling toward Luce. And as always told a little about Luce and Daniel. I like these short stories. They fill in the blanks of the story, gives it more detail. If you've been reading the Fallen series, I recommend you read the short stories.
