review 1: Just finished reading The Wounded and I have to say, besides the fact that the entire series is awesome, I am now craving the next book. If you haven't had the pleasure of reading The Woodlands series, I highly recommend it. The author is as imaginative as she is insightful, a combination that will surely put you on the edge of your seat and make you wish you could read a little faster to see what happens next. Kudos to Lauren Nicolle Taylor!
review 2: The Woodland series keeps getting better and better with each book. There is a lot of pain and struggles but also the development of more love and value to relationships. I was able to feel the hurt and joy the characters went through. I felt my heart break and excitement grow for some of the intense moments. ... moreAnother BIG cliff hanger but it left me wanting to know what happens next more than the other two cliff hangers. I was on the edge of my seat when it came to life and death of a few of the characters and some with the community as a whole. I don't do spoilers but this one is by far the best yet. Now more than anything I am committed to the next book without question. As with the others, this has a lot of things that are not suitable for sensitive people. A lot of death and abuse is throughout this book. less
