review 1: I absolutely loved Sean! He was an ideal hero, he didn't just talk about his honor, he proved it by the way he lived. I think he is probably one if the nicest, most honorable heroes I have ever read!I thought Corinna was a good heroine, but nothing special - she was an artist and unlike her sisters she couldn't cook. Other than that, she really didn't stand out from every other heroine I have read. Maybe if Sean hadn't been so spectacular, Corinna might have seemed better. Griffin and Rachael - well that has been brewing since book 1 and I can't help feeling a little let down - I wanted more for them - maybe them having a book (or at least novella) of their own - they were both such great characters! All in all, I really enjoyed this series - I am just sad that now I h... moreave read all of Ms Royal's books and I have to hope she will be writing more. Maybe Noah and his sisters???
review 2: TWO ROMANCES IN ONE BOOK!!I like "The Art of Temptation" the 3rd and last of the Chase sisters trilogy. Corinna story was good but not as good as bks 1 &2 her sisters stories. I think I had problems with the story line switching back and forth from Corinna's romance with Sean Delaney and her brother Lord Griffins romance with Rachel. Griffin and Rachel are featured in bks 1 & 2 so you have a pretty good idea of whats going to happen between them. Their wasn't a lot hot romance either. But over all I loved how Rachael's storyline was resolved. I didn't figure it out and I didn't see the plot coming until it was upon. I loved how her real parentage was resolved. It couldn't have been better. Back to Sean he is being black mailed by is brother in law an artist John Hamilton. If Sean doesn't go along with pretending to be him and taking care of his elderly uncle who his dying the Earl Of Lincolnshire; John won't give Deirdre his wife and Sean's sister a much need divorce. John was a true low life and he did get his comeuppance but it should have been harsher. It was nothing the Lord Lincolnshire could do to stop John from inheriting the title. It was the law but he should not have offer half of his untitled estates and money for him to divorce Deirdre This was just a slap on the hand. John was disgraced but it concluded to quickly. I wanted to see him disgraced. I was hoping for away that John wouldn't get the title. I was hoping the unknown uncle who Sean inherit 10,000 pounds from years before.,was really the Earl an he would inherit the title. Leaving John with nothing. I am sorry to see an end to the "Regency Chase Family series". I Highly Recommend you read all 3 books. less
