review 1: Oh my goodness this book. I have scrolled past this book for a few months on Oyster. It never really caught my attention. But today. Being a day I had already finished two other books I decided to give it a try. I read a few reviews where people said they had finished the book with a lump or their heart in their throat and I didn't understand until I got to the end of the book. I kept checking to see how much more I had to read cause this couldn't possibly be it. But now that I think about it, this ending was realistic. Not everything came together the way you expect in a YA novel. And I loved that. Would I habe liked to see Holly make up with Saskia, oh course. But it wasn't going to make for a really realistic book if she did. Do I wish she actually ended up with Nils, o... moreh god do I ever. But that would have been even less realistic. But even though those things didn't happen I really really enjoyed this quick read.
review 2: This book is about a girl, Holly that falls for a boy, Paul but later finds out that he is in a relationship with Saskia. Not happy with herself she tries to leave him alone to later discover that she cant. She longs for his touch his voice, mainly his attention. Then the story twists. Holly becomes good friends with Saskia and has to keep everything a secrete. Then Holly`s best friend falls for her and everything in her life gets turned upside down. Some likes that I had for this book was that it kept me very interested. When something happened it didn't stay the same for long. I also liked that this books was in my mind like a cause and effect book. When something happened it always told you the effect that it had on the characters. A dislike that I would have is the ending. Even though Holly left town on good terms with her best friend, I would have like it to go a little bit further. I wanted to, know if they stayed friends or maybe even came back together to start a relationship. Anyone that loves romance books or young adult books would definitely want to read this book. It talks about the struggle of a teen trying to find her way and figure out who she really is. I would recommend this book to all females in high school. less
