Julie O'Hara Mystery
review 1: This book was really good. Merlin or Julie her real name, a body language expert solves the mystery surrounding her best friend's death. What I loved absolutely about this was that this mystery unfurled layer by layer. You could tell that one by one you find out as she finds out who is behind the killing. The suspense gradient increases gradually. Unlike other novels where you know who the murderer is and you're waiting for the lead to find out. I also like the transitions back and forth, its very smooth, well cut and defined. I loved reading this and couldn't put it down once I started. As far as body language experts goes, its done just right. Even to the point where Joan makes a remark about Susan 's behavior chiding herself, when overall she was reading her body languag... moree, something that we unconsciously do a lot.
review 2: After the first few chapters, I had a hard time putting this book down! I downloaded the book as a "freebie" & will definitely buy the next one in the series. Another reviewer mentioned the cursing.... I didn't get the same impression at all. There was a little, but it wasn't overwhelming. I thought some of the conversations were a bit forced and awkward, but it didn't distract from the plot. Good book, especially for a free one! less
