The Other Sister by: Dianne Dixon

The Other Sister by Dianne Dixon
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Morgan had never been the Pretty One, the Invited One, the One who was desired…she has always felt a loss-not knowing how to be without her sister.

Sister love or sister hate. This was a manic depressive book in that I love her – I hate her. I want her in my life- I want her to leave and never come back. I want good things for her/I hope she rots in hell. It was definitely making my head spin. Twin sisters- Morgan always in the shadow of her sister Ali. Ali has the guy, the adoration of others and Morgan her own heart is twisting. It comes to a change when Ali marries and moves to California and the sisters become estranged. When tragedy strikes Ali, Morgan knows and feels that something is off. She then follows Ali to California to start her life on her own with her phone pal Sam. (all very strange)

It is narration of secrets. Secrets that Ali’s husband is keeping. Secrets that Morgan is keeping. And the secret of Ali’s tragedy. Out of many tragedies, Ali and her husband Matt become instant parents when a good friend is suddenly killed. It is there that Ali and Matt must come out there depression and guilt and become a family. With the changes in Morgan’s life, will she get passed her obsession with her sister and learn to love.

Many relationship dynamics that literally make your head spin.
