review 1: There were aspects of this story I like, but a lot that left me cold. The pace was also slow, and while the sexual tension between the h and H built nicely, the story lacked something for me because in the end, I wasn't bothered one way or another about how it would end. The story dragged, with some points being so laboured over so often it grew tedious. It got to the stage where I was actually hanging out for Harrington to reappear just so there would be something happening!
review 2: Trent wants to catch this ~Robin Hood~ so he has Mazie as his captive who has knowledge about this "Midnight Rider". Along the way he discovers she's in fact a member of the ton. Then of course they end up falling in love with each other.Despite the number of ~I love yous~ exchan... moreged on the later parts of the book, tbh I hadn't completely bought their romance. I've enjoyed the book overall enough though. less
