review 1: I did not finish this book because it was ridiculously boring (to me). I got it back in July and struggled to read half of the book over a few weeks, and I put it down when I'd had enough and promptly forgot about it until now. The way the book was written was not for me. I bought it because I'd read good things and thought it was an interesting concept. But I ended up hating the characters, Jenny drove me insane because she was just so boring. I can barely remember why I disliked the book because what I did manage to read was just so unmemorable.
review 2: Sorpresa sembra essere la parola giusta per descrivere a pieno il primo libro della saga Multiversum. Lettura semplice, scorrevole, ricca di descrizioni che ti catturano e ti fanno restare attaccato al libro... more fino all'ultima pagina. In certi passi, a mio avviso, si calca un po' la mano su alcuni stereotipi, sebbene nell'insieme il flusso della narrazione non ne risenta. Nonostante questo, l'originalità della trama e lo stile offuscano questo aspetto e finisci per non rendertene neanche conto. Patrignani sa scrivere e si vede. Il libro apre a molti interrogativi e anche quando ti sembra di aver capito tutto, ecco che l'autore ti stravolge le carte in tavola e ti ipnotizza. Tant'è che non ero arrivato neanche a 30 pagine e già avevo acquistato il secondo libro. Questa non è una cosa da dare per scontato, vista la mole di trilogie che imperversano sugli scaffali delle librerie. Nell'insieme 4 stelle, considerati gli aspetti sopra citati che non mi hanno entusiasmato. Per il resto è una lettura coinvolgente, che merita il successo che sta riscuotendo. Consigliata! less
