review 1: I was so sad after reading Carnage #1 that I immediately dove right into this book hoping that it would make the sadness go away. Thankfully it did. There were the usual ups and downs and the story had such a great flow that I just couldn't stop reading until I had finished it. Once I was finished I really started thinking about how one small fraction of time can change your whole life path. If Sean wouldn't of went to that room they might not of broke up and she might not of every met Cam and maybe Beau and Sean would still be alive or maybe they would of had a daughter instead. If Georgia wouldn't of left the restaurant that night she might of married Mr TDH and had only his kids but then Harry wouldn't be here. One decision can change the lives of everyone around you... more. I am so glad I got to read this great story. It was well worth the tears that I shed.
review 2: Where to begin?First,, I bought this book on the first day it came out .. But it took me all this time to finally read it ... Why?I was BRICKING IT! Terrified, shit scared at what else was gonna go wrong for Georgia..Yes Georgia, not Gia, but Georgia ... That is one thing I really felt strongly about.. Sean was the only one to call her that, and it would have gutted me more to see anyone else call her that ...So.. The prologue.. 2 pages in and I'm already sobbing like a baby.. Thanks Lesley, I was instantly bought back to three months ago, finishing carnage#1 for the second time and the big aching hole in my chest ... Fuck me, I'm tearing up writing the damn review .. This isn't gonna go well :-/ After another media frenzy Georgia finds herself in Australia, with extended family just trying to get away and get herself back together again...it's really not going well,And she meets Roman.. Less than a year after Sean's untimely demise, Georgia is at war with herself (again) is it wrong for her to feel? How is she supposed to feel? Damn I was as confused as she was!With a little encouragement she gets her shit together (sort of... I mean this is Georgia) and manages to have some fun...After she decides to head back to England, she 'bumps' into Cam at the opening event of a new club and they end up spending the night together hashing a lot of shit out, and agreeing to let things run their course...Back in England, and cue the inevitable drama... Sometimes I really felt sorry for Georgia.. And other times I wanted to smack her upside the head.. If I wasn't laughing, I was crying... This book had me wound up so tight I just couldn't keep my emotions in check..There's so much more I want to say, but *Spoilers* ... Can't bring myself to do it... I can definitely say I'm happy with how Georgia's story ended, even if I wasn't always completely happy with the path she took to get there ... And one more thing .. Lesley Jones.. I fucking love the fuck outta you! 4 bright shiny stars! less
