review 1: I don't know if I just wasn't in the mood for shape shifters or if the story just bored me but either way I DNF'ed it at 53%. It started alright but then I sort of lost interest in it. The really obvious spelling mistakes every so often didn't help either. I just couldn't connect with the story or the characters. Well I liked, Josie, the little girl. She just reminded me of my nieces. Not for me.

The chemistry between the two burns hot and fast, especially when Shayna goes into her first heat and Travis helps her through it. As the attraction builds, the two are forced to go on the run when they are attacked again. Shayna’s love for Travis and his family grow and when they have to fight to save his daughter’s life The suspense builds throughout the story as they try to stop their enemies and protect the inhabitants of Ashwood Falls. The author has created a world that leaves the reader entertained and wanting more with its well written sex scenes, fight scenes a believable story line and magical characters. The story also has surprising twists that keep the reader anticipating what’s next. less
