review 1: 3.5 stars!! Even though this book is fractured and does not read like a typical story, this is a thoroughly enjoyable read. The story takes you through the span of one evening. We are told the story of one woman's grief process and how she relives memories and uses them to process her grief. I really enjoyed this story because it felt very personal and I felt that I was going through this with her. Thumbs-up!
review 2: This book was written like a long love poem. Nina is sitting by her husband, Phillip's, bedside after he has passed away and remembers their life together. I like the concept but I ended up not liking either of the characters very much and I honestly got pretty bored with it. I wasn't quite convinced of her real love for Phillip rather tha... moren her love of the comfort she had in her life with him. The end left things kind of open to interpretation and I'm not really sure how I felt about it. less
