review 1: This was the first book by Linda Green that I read and I loved it. I've read it a few times since I first bought. 10 Reasons not to fall in love we meet Jo whose boyfriend Richard walked out on her and their son Alfie, and unfortunately is also her boss. But if you thought it couldn't get any worse he's now dating another colleague. Then Dan enters Jo and Alfie's life. I loved how rather than have Dan tell Jo about his childhood Linda keeps going back to when he was younger to a certain event in his life. I loved the storyline and the ending.
review 2: I own quite a number of what you could call chick lit books, and sadly, this isn't one of my better ones. It was a rather quick read which I managed to get through on a night shift. Dan and Alfie for me were the
... morehighlights of the book, their banter and good humour with each other helping the pages to flow quite well. I am not one for ultimately believing that everything can and will turn out alright in the end, as does so in this book, and the ending was unsurprising - I would have rated it higher had it been able to even remotely surprise me. less
