review 1: Romance? Zero. Hot sex? 100%. Story arc? Inexistent. So, even though I enjoyed all the sex (how could I not?), I was pretty disappointed by the lack of evolution regarding the main story of this series. It was all about sex, sex, sex and more sex disguised of love. These two demons didn't even show why they were called Demons of Battle and Seduction. They seemed more like lambs than demons. And Thalia was pretty pitiful too. They ended up their argument for the totality of the book with what? More sex. Not a single serious conversation in this book. Totally disappointing regarding the other previous books of the series.
review 2: So yeah, I've got a thing for erotic novellas - ones that actually have good writing at least. Let's not talk about those other three
... more popular ones that seem to be getting all the attention. These novellas are incredibly well written. The sex is of course the star, but there is enough mystery that goes through all three books to keep you interested in the story as well as the sex. Demons in this context are not bad, they are actually the good guys in many ways with the Fae being the evil ones. Despite the fact that they are portrayed as the ones in power, and are written as the ones using sex as power, it is really the women in the story who have most of the power. Very satisfying, can be finished in under a day, and stand up to reading multiple times. less
